Each one of our walks in the fields and forests is an adventure. We might see colonies of strange, colourful mushrooms, meet a porcupine hurrying along on a trail, witness flying squirrels gliding from tree to tree, watch flocks of sparrows dive down from the sky to a lake bellow for a quick drink in passing…
From the contemplation of these marvels, from my love for a little spotted dog and a passion for textiles and design, The Walking Muse was born.

Hi! My name is Audrey! And this is my dog Molly!
If I am the creator behind The Walking Muse, she is definitely the muse!
Molly, (aka Mooni) was born a Greek Stray. She was found by rescue volunteers in a vacant lot in the village of Galatas, Greece, at only a few weeks old.
We adopted her through an American rescue organization and she joined us in Canada in November of 2017.
She was a scrawny three month old pup by then, with piranha needle teeth hungry for fingers, and a spindly tail that never stopped wagging.
She was, and still is, the sweetest little being I have ever met.
To say she changed my life would be an understatement.
We live in the Quebec countryside together, and are both equally curious of all the wonders of nature that surround us.
