Shop Policies
Upon Reception of Your Order
Please make sure to check your order upon reception to ensure it contains all items ordered in pristine condition. If your collar has been damaged in shipping or if a mistake has been made in your order, please contact the shop as soon as possible. Arrangements will then be made for an exchange, refund, or reship, following the preference of the buyer when possible, but at the discretion of the seller. If a return is warranted, the shop will not refund the purchase until the items have been received by the shop. Once your return has been processed, please allow 10 business days for the completion of the refund. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

Cancellations
Cancellations can be made within 48 hours of purchase. After this time, the decision to accept a cancellation will be left at the discretion of the seller.

Missing Orders
The shop cannot be held responsible for the loss of a parcel after it has been shipped. However, the shop will happily make inquiries with postal services to try and locate your parcel. If it has been deemed lost, the shop will either refund of resend, at its discretion.

Returns and Exchanges
Items must be returned within 7 days of the reception of the shipment. Collars must not have been worn or damaged and will have to be re-shipped in their original packaging. We do not accept exchanges. Custom orders do not apply for return or exchange, unless an error was committed by the shop
International Shipping
Your home country may require you to pay custom import fees. The shop cannot be held responsible for any customs and import taxes that may occur. Every country has a different policy when it comes to calculating custom fees, usually based on weight, value and size of parcel. Inquire to your local postal services or customs official for further details.

Products
Product photos displayed, specific descriptions, individual prices, shipping costs and additional applicable charges are entitled to be changed by The Walking Muse without prior disclosure.

All collars are handmade, and as such, they will not be exactly as shown in the photos, unless otherwise specified. There will be differences between each of the collars due to fabric placement, and changes in openwork and hardware. All size measurements will be respected as closely as possible by the maker. We aim to provide you with the highest quality products and if we feel the final product produced isn't of high quality, we'll contact you first. We try to accurately portray the products displayed, however, changes can occur without prior notifications. We also cannot guarantee that your device displays colours accurately.

Safety
Please keep in mind that our collars are daily walking collars, not adventure collars, and that the materials and construction do not allow for strenuous use. All our collars are lined with lightweight polypropylene webbing for strength. However, we do not recommend the use of our collars for strong pullers or to use as a tie out.
The Walking Muse cannot be held responsible for injuries and accidents that occur following improper use of the collars. Please make sure you are familiarized with the traditional buckle closure and adjust the collars snuggly, leaving space for only two fingers between the collar and your dog's neck, to avoid him backing out of it. Never leave your pet unattended wearing our collars or any collar.
The shop cannot be held responsible for injuries to your pet or for any damage inflicted on the items after reception.

Any purchase made from our site means that you have agreed to be bound by this policy, as well as the terms and conditions and privacy policy (see links at the bottom of every page). Everyone who accesses this site must abide by these terms, regardless of title: customer, vendor, models, etc. Please read these policies in their entirety before continuing to access our site so you have a full understanding of all conditions regarding your interaction with this site and any purchases. If you don't agree with these terms and policies in their entirety, you are strictly prohibited from using this website and making purchases.

We reserve the rights to update, remove or change any part of these Terms without providing you with knowledge of this update. It is your sole responsibility to refer back to these pages to verify any updates and additions. Continued use after updates and additions to the Terms and Policies will constitute implicit agreement to these changes.
You agree by using this site that you of legal age in your state, and can legally make online purchases. If you are a minor, you need a parent or guardian's permission to access and purchase anything from this website. We are not held responsible for any minor that accesses or purchases from The Walking Muse without their parent or guardian's permission.
The intellectual property and any other information presented on this site may not be used for commercial purposes of any sort without prior consent from The Walking Muse. You agree not to copy, duplicate, reproduce, resell or exploit any portion of our services and products without prior written permission. If you're found to have breached or violated any of these Terms, we will immediately terminate any provided services. We also hold the right to take any necessary legal action if you have breached or violated these Terms.
The Walking Muse website is hosted by the WIX platform, and therefore, its continued use constitutes implicit agreement to their Terms Of Use and Privacy Policy as well.
We hold the right to limit the amount of sales of any product to any person geographic region. We will not discriminate on the basis of race, color, ethnicity, sexuality, religion or disability. We hold the right to exercise limited amount of sales to an individual on a case-by-case basis.
